A different perspective

Things look different from this end!

We've been in Dallas for 5 months now and it still seems we aren't settled. Even John feels like he's upside down. Jennifer and the kids are doing well (you may have already seen normal pics) though someone always has an allergy, cold, new tooth or strep throat. Jennifer is co-leading a women's Bible study and volunteering with our youth group of 7 kids. She's incredible at being a mom and being active in her ministry gifts.

Hope started Montessori school )8:30 - Noon, Mon. thru Fri.) thanks to an incredible scholarship from the school. Montessori is perfect for her "careful" personality and she continues to show us how smart and talented she is.

Paul tried school for a bit but it was too overwhelming for his empathetic senses to have kids cry when their parents left. So since we're under no pressure to have him in school Jennifer enjoys the guy time in the morning.

John continues to live into his "determined" attitude I labeled him with. Maybe he read my blog about him. He goes non-stop and enjoys alone time with me as well as getting to know Paul as a brother to roll around the floor with.

I'm getting used to my new perspective out of school and back in ministry. Until my Diocese dumped a bunch of work on me for my training I was preaching every week. My Rector is helping me by allowing me to preach monthly while working on other assignments. At the church I also lead the music for the Contemporary Evening Prayer I'm in my charge. I oversee the Youth Ministry and do general assisting around the church (visitations, morning services, changing light bulbs, stuff like that).

Well there's a quick catch up and we hope to be back on the regular blogging discipline soon. Bless you all!
